Overview:
The Wireless Core Engineering team is seeking a engineering candidate who has experience with background in wireless core technologies. The focus is heavily on 5G core standalone technology built on private cloud native environments. This position will be focused on deploying 5G core network functions in a non-production lab environment (AMF, SMF, and UPF). The output of this position is to assist defining architecture, build documentation, create test plans, and execute functional test plans. There is also a healthy amount of collaboration with SIT / QA and Operational organizations on a day to day basis.

Required Experience:
- 4G LTE Evolved Packet Core (hands on deployment, configuration, monitoring, and testing)
- Knowledge of 4G LTE 3GPP call flows
- Linux Systems Administration knowledge (RHEL / CentOS)
- 5G Core (NSA and SA) (hands on deployment, configuration, monitoring, and testing)
- Knowledge of 5G 3GPP call flows
- VMware vSphere 6.x / 7.x Hypervisor Experience
- Cloud Native / Kubernetes Administration experience
- Scripting Experience
- 4G / 5G Test Equipment Experience (Network Function Emulation)
- Networking Background / Knowledge (CCNA)
- Cisco and / or Ericsson mobility solution experience
