The Digital Technology team, within the ecommerce business unit, is responsible for the development and support of Newell Brands marketing and eCommerce websites globally, such as YankeeCandle.com, GracoBaby.com, Sharpie.com, Dymo.com, Rubbermaid.com, and many others. In addition, the team is also responsible for relevant enterprise web application development and enterprise systems integration projects.
Looking for an Agile Coach to help in the transformation of our Digital and ecommerce teams into a scaled agile culture. This candidate will leverage their knowledge of industry-proven frameworks (SAFe, DAD, etc.) and focus on improving predictability and quality as part of Newell's continuous improvement efforts. This role will report to the Agile Practice Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for teaching, mentoring and hands-on coaching of Agile Teams (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Software Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers) within a scaled-agile framework (SAFe) to increase efficiency and velocity of system development.
- Guide and coach Scrum Masters and Product Management team members in the facilitation of all agile ceremonies including Iteration Planning and Program Increment Planning.
- Support formation and launch of new Agile Teams through Coach new Agile teams/programs formation and launches; and/or assess and guide the improvement of existing Agile teams/programs
- Participate with the Agile Practice Lead in the ongoing creation and maintenance of Newell's Agile Playbook which includes guidelines and processes. Drive promotion and education of any new, or updated, guidelines and processes as they become available.
- Support the Agile Practice Lead in preparation and execution of Agile Governance Team meetings.
- Guide the continual improvement of product planning execution towards better predictability, productivity, and quality of delivery commitments.
- Create and continuously improve Agile guidance, training materials and content repository.
- Provide monthly Agile Team Assessments and recommendations for improvements
- Embrace servant leadership and embody the qualities and mindsets that are associated with Agile value and principles.
- Initiate and participate in knowledge communities to maintain relevant latest knowledge and skills; and proactively share and contribute to the team and organization's collective growth.
- Be a team player and results focused, and perform certain Agile roles when needed to move progress forward
- 5+ years practical experience implementing Agile and SAFe processes and leveraging supporting toolsets in mid to large organizations
- 2+ years Agile training and coaching experience in highly distributed environments
- Solid background utilizing Lean, ScrumXP, Kanban, DevOps and other Agile development techniques in software development
- Ability to manage dynamic priorities under pressure and work flexible schedules to support global teams
- Ability to quickly grasp and aggregate business domain and product knowledge
- Demonstrates solid big-picture thinking and one-team mindset
- Strong ability to identify risks, constraints, and dependencies
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation and facilitation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
- Solid self-motivated attitude and ability to influence and motivate others
- Minimum of one or more Scrum Alliance, IC-Agile, or SAFe SPC certifications
- Experience in creating and delivering classroom trainings and facilitating workshop sessions remote and in-person.
- Experience working with large-scale teams in a website and ecommerce environment.
- Experience with Atlassian Suite mainly Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence
- Experience with Scaled Agile (preferably SAFe) implementations
