Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple engineering teams on a day-to-day basis to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve software
- Partner with business leadership to manage user stories and project commitments in an Agile framework to rapidly deliver value to our customers
- Mentor the engineering team to develop and perform as highly as possible
- Support the engineering team’s release management processes and functions
- Own the team’s development methodology and drive modern solutions to complex problems
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager
- 5+ years of experience with one or more of the following methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, Lean or SAFE
- 5+ years of working with software engineering and familiarity with processes: design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, agile, and dev-ops
- 5+ years of experience holding responsibilities for communicating updates to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working with Rally Software (formerly CA Agile Central) or equivalent Agile delivery management tool(s)
- Experience working within UHC, Optum, and/or the healthcare or financial services industries
