Technical/Functional Skills : Azure Kubernetes Services, Terraform, Helm chart, YAML, JSON, ARM, Prometheus, Dynatrace
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Set up Kubernetes cluster with all required integration like Azure AD, Repository and Ingress/Egress connectivity
2. Build automation pipelines for cluster provisioning to improve deployment speed as well reliability
3. Deploy and Administer Kubernetes cluster using AKS
4. Monitoring of AKS health using tools like Prometheus, Dynatrace
5. Work closely with DevOps engineering team to build an integrated CI/CD pipeline
6. Work with Architecture, Infosec, Application team to ensure security vulnerabilities are addressed
7. Document deployment artifacts
8. Understand application components and work closely with architects, tech leads to document the detailed design, runbooks for AKS
9. Active participation in requirement analysis, functionally and technically
10. Collaborate with internal teams comprising developers, BA, QA, support and operations’ users
11. Ability to transform solutions to target modern technology stack in an efficient, reusable way
12. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address quick resolutions
13. Develop and work in agile process, able to estimate-and-track & work independently
14. Assists more junior members of the team and guide their work where applicable.
Skills and Experience:
1. 5+ years of experience in container technology – particularly with MS Azure Kubernetes Service, setting up and building Kubernetes Clusters in Azure – Install, Configure, Optimize, Nodes/PODs scale-up and management
2. Experience and Ability to setup automation & CI/CD pipeline using Terraform and Azure DevOps
3. 5+ years of experience in Containerization technology like Docker
4. Good knowledge on Kubernetes networking & policies
5. Experience in Serverless, Microservices architecture concepts
6. Proficient in code versioning tools like GIT/BitBucket, SVN and CICD
Generic Managerial Skills:
1. Good Communication and Analytical skills
2. Provide technical guidance and directions to Onsite & Offshore teams as required
3. Highlight risks with mitigation plans, Report progress as required
