The Corporate Technology Application Support Monitoring team provides support of hundreds of applications across the CT Portfolio in a 24x7 environment. Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Application Support Monitoring team to deliver against core business objectives and the target operating model
- Reporting directly to the regional Application Support Monitoring team Manager, provide day-to-day application support within the production environment to a standard that meets or exceeds Operational Level Agreements.
- Assist with the transition of production application support tasks from other towers into the Application Support Monitoring Team in order to realize increased service optimization through economies of scale.
- Assist with the on-boarding of new application production application support tasks from our AD partners into to the ASM Team in order to realize increased service optimization through economies of scale.
- Continually drive automation and improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
- The global team will provide 24x7 on-site support 365 days per year
- Must be able to multi-task in a complex production environment and quickly acquire broad knowledge of CT tools, platforms and working practices
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Self-starter with confidence to drive issues through to completion in highly pressured environment
- Solid investigation and analysis skills in order to recommend value-add solutions in problem focus areas
- Multi-disciplined technology skills encompassing some or all
- Enterprise Monitoring and Alerting Tools, e.g. APICA, App Dynamics, Geneos etc
- Enterprise Job Scheduling Tools, e.g. Control-M, AutoSys, etc
- Advanced Linux/Unix skills (Shell Scripting) and/or Windows Scripting
- Proficient with toolchain and devops tools
- Web services, IIS, Apache
- Database skills, including intermediate to advance understanding of SQL and Stored Procedures
