Contract Description
We currently have a contract opportunity for AWS Engineer to support a client engagement.
- Maintain and Administer On-Premises Infrastructure. This will include applying patches on common Linux services such as web servers, file servers, and databases; updating internal documentation of server hardware and software; and maintaining and refactoring infrastructure code.
- Maintain and Administer AWS Infrastructure. We are applications running on AWS as well as a host of internal systems that rely on AWS services. You will be expected to use Infrastructure code and work with our ever-growing collection of Terraform modules. Previous experience with Terraform is a plus but not required.
- Triage and Respond to DevOps Incidents.
- Work with Multiple Complex Repositories. You will be following engineering best practices, writing, committing, and reviewing code across multiple Git projects.
- Support the Development Lifecycle. From troubleshooting key portions of the CI/CD pipeline to understanding and maintaining Docker containers, you will need to understand and assist with the engineering and IT workflows. Familiarity with containers and the concepts of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment is essential.
- Experience implementing Data architecture in DevOps - Continuous Integration\Continuous Delivery (CI\CD) Mindset
- Experience with cloud automation tools like Cloud formation templates, Terraform
- Hands-on experience with extensive scripting and test framework experience
- Experience on Cloud Databases: AWS RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, Graph Databases - Neo4
- Experience building data lake on AWS using S3 for storage and Glue/EMR for computing
- Experience implementing serverless big data pipelines using AWS lambda, AWS Glue, AWS Kinesis
