Position Description Azure Devops Engineer Rapid Integration
The Public Cloud Transformation Services (PCTS) team is responsible for enabling the public cloud to become a preferred platform across Morgan Stanley IT. This is a global, multi-discipline team responsible for architecting and delivering secure, robust, and innovative solutions which would enable the development teams to build and deploy new applications as well as migrate selected existing applications into the public cloud.
We are presently looking for an experienced Cloud Devops Engineer to join our Azure Rapid Integration public cloud squad. The candidate should be familiar with various cloud concepts, services, and tools, with a focus on application migration and integration.
The candidate will be involved in multiple aspects of the team's work, including evaluation of new cloud products and services, and integrating them into standard Morgan Stanley cloud solutions.
Required
Experience with migrating applications to Azure public cloud
Experience with Azure cloud architecture design and application integration/refactoring to work with public cloud
Experience working with Azure Policies (e.g. DINE, Audit)
Expert knowledge on infrastructure as code languages such as Terraform
Expert scripting skills (e.g. Powershell, Python)
Experience of designing systems to scale in an enterprise environment
Effective communication and collaboration skills, ability to work closely with multi-discipline teams, business partners, and sponsors
Strong sense of operational ownership and ability to drive engineering and development initiatives
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global organization and across time zones
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both written and orally, to diverse audiences

Demonstrated experience with working within an agile/devops environment
Experience setting up and using CI/CD pipelines, especially with Azure DevOps
