Azure DevOps Engineer (Managed)

Supplier will supplement the Azure Storage End to End Scenarios validation team to maintain the health of pre-production and Test environments. Supplier will help identify, troubleshoot, escalate and mitigate Azure Storage deployment health issues. Supplier will exhibit excellent communication skills and good understanding of the Storage Deployment processes and Microsoft Azure Storage.

Azure DevOps Engineer (Managed)
Location: Bellevue, WA

Supplier will supplement the Azure Storage End to End Scenarios validation team to maintain the health of pre-production and Test environments. Supplier will help identify, troubleshoot, escalate and mitigate Azure Storage deployment health issues. Supplier will exhibit excellent communication skills and good understanding of the Storage Deployment processes and Microsoft Azure Storage.
- Monitor tenant deployment health signals, tag the tenant unhealthy to block bug auto-generation and reduce noise as result.
- Collaborate, escalate and communicate to engineering teams and partners and follow-up on recommended fixes.
- Coordinate and execute end to end repave of test tenants.
- Move test tenants between XLS when required due to repave.
- Failover XLS when requested by Microsoft Azure Storage team.
- Perform test tenant modeling including configuration changes and helping addition of the new roles, alter the size of tenant, SCTE account setup
- Acknowledge and Triage test deployment incidents, workitems.
- Investigate DSTS authentication and any VIP related issues.
- Follow up on blocked deployments till resolved.
- Use technical levers to mitigate storage pre-prod/test deployment blockers including node recovery.
- Suggest and influence key improvements to reduce storage test deployment cycle time.
- Analyze the common issues and create bugs for permanent fix.
