Azure DevOps Software Engineer
Position Description
Are you a DevOps Software Engineer with experience delivering and supporting software, including new development, configuration and installation of third party packages, and software integration efforts. Including tasks from every part of the software development lifecycle, software and website design, development, programming, and software deployment (both the installation and decommissioning of software) and the support of the solution? Your future duties and responsibilities
You will collaborate with other DevOps team members and partners in other geographical locations and delivering solutions against fixed timelines. Prior experience in working around a trading platform is ideal.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Expertise in C#, .net, SQL Server, Internet Information Services (IIS) and Web/Window Services
Understanding of GIT concepts
Ability to write and execute automated test scripts
Exposure to Messaging (ZMQ or similar)
Experience in developing solutions for trading platforms
Understanding of Trade Lifecycle and pricing concepts
Understanding of Crude and Commodities trading useful
Excellent written and spoken communication
Support by Design approach to development
Engage with internal end customers to clarify requirements and perform 'show and tells'
Experienced in using Jira and Azure DevOps in an Agile Environment
Accurately estimate and meet delivery targets
Ability to break down features into sub tasks to deliver the feature
Desired Qualifications
Prior experience using Azure DevOps for branching and Source Control, build and deployment
Python and PowerShell
Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $84,000-$120,000*
