CBH is seeking a cloud DevOps specialist to administer and support our cloud systems initiatives, such as Snowflake Data Warehouse and web application integrations. We are looking for a self-starter who is passionate about data and excited to work on new and emerging technologies. The Azure DevOps Specialist will be responsible for administration of platforms and cloud services as well as facilitating architecture and development of software and systems, and integration of internal and third party systems.
Essential Functions:
- Install, configure, and manage software and platforms, primarily in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment
- Analyze, test, and assist with systems integrations
- Release management for custom software components
- Setup and maintain tools, such as Git, BI, Data Warehouse and databases
- Administer and use technical systems like Snowflake, Matillion, and Azure
- Work with developers, infrastructure, and stakeholders to determine system requirements
- Install and configure systems, including authentication, permissions, sizing, high availability, etc.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of systems
- Implement database creation code, data transformations, and other utilities for integrating systems
- Automate tools for deployment and to monitor system health and reliability to support business processes
- Debug and problem solve systems issues in production and non-production environments
- Key contributor on the Production Support team
- Communicating with both technical and non-technical collaborators
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable work experience is acceptable for this position
- 3+ years of experience in a similar individual contributor role.
- Experience with Azure is a must. Comfortable with cloud architectures and networking is helpful
- Experience in software development with Python, Javascript or Microsoft tools is a huge plus
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, message queues and related technologies in a cloud environment
- Experience with some form of CI/CD is helpful
- Experience working on Databases such as Snowflake, SQLServer, Oracle, Aurora, PostgreSQL is a must
- Experience with Azure networking, VPN and Active directory is preferred
- Experience with Azure Cloud security principles is preferred
- Knowledge of Git and Microsoft development tools is preferred
