Azure Engineer---- REMOTE
This company is looking to expand immediately and is urgently hiring for a remote Azure Engineer. You will be working with one of our largest Microsoft Partners in the finance industry with a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust Cloud-centric solutions. This is a full time, fully remote position.

Role and Responsibilities

• Engineering, deployment, and support of infrastructure and services
• Delivering landing zones for stakeholders to deploy Azure services
• Enabling Public Cloud Migration of systems supported by the Transactional Squad
• Select and develop appropriate cloud services to design and deploy an application based on given requirements
• Using Infrastructure as a Code for onboarding, configuration, and automation of cloud services
• Design, optimize, and document the operational aspects of the Cloud platform
• Migrate complex multi-tier applications to public cloud
• Work closely with customers

Skills and Experience

• Great communication skills (written and oral)
• Heavy experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud formation, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing
• Maintain high availability production systems
• 5+ years of experience working with Azure architecture, design, and services
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, and Kubernetes
• 3+ years of experience of programming (Python, Ruby, Go, Java, .Net, C++)
• Experience with Agile and DevOps

Terms

• 12 month contract
• Must be on EST
• 40 hours per week, must be able to commit full bandwidth
• US and Green Card holders only, must be located in the US.
