We are creating the cloud-based automated deployment system that will allow Microsoft to rapidly deploy the new complex environments to demonstrate the newest Microsoft technologies. We are reviewing and exploring existing processes across multiple product groups and developing new unified experience, integrated with their SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
Microsoft has over 80 services. Thousands of Cloud Architects and Technical Solution Specialists around the world doing demos to customers every day. Microsoft executives, Scott Guthrie, Jason Zander etc., announcing and demoing new features on major conferences annually. The goal is to develop a platform that would support those needs. The challenge is to understand what’s there, propose how to change it to satisfy demo requirements for both tried and true services as well as bleeding edge solutions. It is an opportunity to learn how Microsoft works from inside, learn technologies that no one has ever seen before and make this demo environment seamlessly integrated into Microsoft SDLC process!

Responsibilities:
- Create automated deployment scenarios for the complex environments that will include multiple components including distributed applications, cloud resources, third-party and on-premise resources, etc.
- Work with project leader and Product Groups to identify new scenarios and plan automated deployment for them
- Identify dependencies between application components and infrastructure resources
- Integrate automated deployment scenarios with release processes across multiple teams
Mandatory skills:
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft Azure principles, architecture and management
- Good understanding of the enterprise SDLC and release processes for cloud services
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Management Services:
- Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
- Azure DevOps
- Azure Automation
- Azure Active Directory
- Experience with ARM templates, PowerShell
- English skills: fluent Speaking and Writing
- Development of challenged solutions
