Job Description:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will play a key role working with multiple levels of the Business while also providing guidance to agile team members as well as work with other Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) on cross-functional projects.

Job Description:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will play a key role working with multiple levels of the Business while also providing guidance to agile team members as well as work with other Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) on cross-functional projects.
Summary of Responsibilities and Skills:
- UI Requirements Gathering
- Data and Business Logic validation
- Strong SQL skills and Analytical capabilities
- Translate business requests into software requirements:
- Clarify requirements by working with Business Stakeholders
- Facilitate requirements sessions/workshops
- Document requirements (stories with acceptance criteria, flows, other documentation)
- Obtain agreement/signoff on requirements and scope
- Act as the primary liaison between Business Stakeholders and Technology Teams
- Work fluidly with application developers, database developers, business analysts, quality assurance engineers and product owners to validate requirements/business needs in order to answer business questions and provide meaningful insights
- Participate in review of defects found in sprint testing, to classify any defects or new requirements
- Participate in regular backlog review/team refinement sessions
- Identify and coordinate with key technology stakeholders to complete tasks; equip them with appropriate context and details regarding objectives
- Manage work in well organized and systematic manner
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a business systems analyst role, preferably on enterprise level projects
- Strong SQL skills preferred
- Knowledge of project management and workflow/mockup tools and principles
- Familiarity with requirements validation, team building and technical documentation skills
- Excellent analytical & critical thinking skills with the ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with personnel from other cultures / backgrounds in different locations
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
- Take ownership of the timely delivery of work assigned at high quality standards
- Ability to effectively manage time with minimal supervision
- Customer sensitive and results oriented
- Works well as a member of a team, shares knowledge and consults with others for best solutions
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
- Experience with software defect/enhancement tracking system (Azure DevOps is preferred)
