Software Engineer
We are in search of a software engineer for our client in Minnesota. This role can be remote, but the individual should be in Minnesota. This individual would manage the full lifecycle application development. They would design, code, test, debug, and document web and client applications. They would be responsible for performing requirements analysis and documentation, data analysis, and quality assurance. S/he would maintain open communication with management, sales, and clients about project status and proactively identify scope and budget changes and communicate them to the appropriate people.

Responsibilities
- Assume accountability for projects
- Design, develop, test, document, and manage software projects
- Provide collaborative support to other software engineers
- Develop applications according to contract and requirements specifications
- Follow established processes for implementing projects
- Provide technical support services to clients as needed, including installation and configuration of software
- Aid sales and other support personnel as needed
- Fully document code and participate in code reviews
- Use source code control daily
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems relating to software or hardware
- Ability to work effectively in both team and individual environments
- Understanding of all aspects of a software development lifecycle
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
- Good understanding of design and implementation of both client and web software
- Ability to manage competing time requirements

- Technical degree or related work experience
