Managed Cloud Service Integration – Cloud DevOps Lead Dev/Architect

We are looking for a DevOps Lead Dev/Architect to support our growing Cloud Practice. The ideal candidate will have previous public cloud experience building scalable platform capabilities to facilitate a variety of engagements by the practice team and foster continuous improvement and automation. The DevOps Cloud Lead will work with the Product, Practice, and extended DevOps teams to deliver and maintain a framework for cloud integration and automation supporting the complete solution lifecycle.

Successful candidates will have a strong structured approach a documentation skill, a passion for problem solving, and proven experience designing and building orchestration concepts to automate onboarding, provisioning, management, and scaling

Responsibilities:
  • Define, deliver, and maintain a functional architecture supporting the T&T Cloud practice
  • Work closely with business partners to understand requirements and define changes to the architecture and integration core to meet the business needs
  • Work closely with the extended DevOps team and partners to integrate systems in support of the business.
  • Capacity Planning for the cloud management environments
  • Define SRE Metrics & Monitoring Strategy (SLI, SLO, etc.)
  • Partner with the Support, Professional Services, and product teams to identify areas for improvement and automation
  • Develop Code/Script to support elimination of manual processes
  • Develop and deploy proof of concept environments in support of end state architecture buildout
Requirements
  • Relevant BA/BS or specialized training / equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience with Azure cloud platforms and technologies (IaaS and PaaS)
  • Containerization: AKS & Azure Container Services
  • Cloud Migration: Azure Site Recovery, Azure Migration
  • Serverless: Application Gateway, LogicApp
  • Storage: Azure Storage (Blobs, Files, Queues, Tables)
  • Database: SQL Server (IaaS, PaaS, MI), Postgres, MySQL
  • Networking: VNET, Load Balancer, CDN, Traffic Manager, Route tables, VP
  • Azure DevOps: Azure Pipeline, Azure Repos,
  • Management and Orchestration tools: ARC, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Shell
  • 5+ years development, automation, and operational experience
  • Strong security and compliance alignment supporting PCI-DSS, ISO27001, SOC2
  • Demonstrated history of innovative thinking and delivery, including disruptive innovation
  • Highly organized
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Proven experience with defining IT strategies and roadmaps
  • Excellent communication, meeting facilitation and listening skills
  • Strong team working and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience in a managed services provider and some knowledge of other key service areas including managed services, consultancy, cloud applications, is preferred
