Description:
Are you a motivated and enthusiastic engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges? Do you have a background supporting .NET applications in a Cloud based environment? Then this role may be for you! HumCap is recruiting on behalf of a global software company looking to hire a Cloud Integration Engineer (DevOps/TechOps) at their Plano office. Due to COVID-19 this may involve some remote work, but will predominantly be based out of the Plano office moving forward.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Maintain and build a strong knowledge of the product suite, both in terms of functionality and technical deployment
• Support the solution deployed into Cloud hosted environments by using monitoring tools and dashboards
• Develop automation for complex Azure environments including dynamic resource provisioning
• Respond to and investigate 2nd and 3rd line support queries as part of a 24/7 global team
Knowledge & Experience:
• Supporting .NET applications in a Windows based environment
• Experience in providing support and communicating with external customers
• An understanding of network management including DNS, HTTP, Firewalls and Load Balancing
• Ability to read and understand code
• Scripting experience (PowerShell or similar)
• Hands on experience with Azure
• Databases, ability to write queries and understand data structures
• A drive and passion for learning
Nice to haves:
• Experience with additional cloud platforms (AWS / Google Cloud Platform)
• Development skills (C# / Visual Studio)
• Usage of monitoring tools
• Experience with deployment tools such as Octopus Deploy
• Infrastructure Automation (Terraform / Chef / Puppet / Ansible)
