RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client looking for a remote Data Reliability Engineer. Summary: As a data reliability engineer, you are on the team to build our next generation data platform to support our rapid growth. We are adopting new data infrastructure and application patterns, and we seek an experienced DevOps and Terraform engineer to help transform our platform and our engineering team. You will join a team with deep experience with Cloud Data Warehouse and AWS services and contribute your engineering expertise to continuously spark transformation of our people and platform. This role will support the growing portfolio. Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Provisioning AWS resource by following infrastructure as code practice
• Managing snowflake RBAC and top-level objects creation with Terraform
• Apply DevOps practice to ELT pipeline development
• Proactively engage and guide development teams to improve the lifecycle of developing and

managing highly available systems through assertion of SRE principals
REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or closely related discipline
• 5+ years experience working on Linux environment, and proficient with cloud environment

(AWS)

• 5+ years experience coding in one or more of the following programming language: Python,

Java, or Golang

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Reliability Engineering for high-performant, scalable and

distributed data systems with a focus on automation

• 3+ years experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• 3+ years experience in Snowflake ops and admin
• Deep understanding of CI/CD principles, familiar with version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of container and container orchestration e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
• Detailed problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive
• A passionate bias to action and passion for delivering high-quality data solutions
• Prior experience in SRE role
• Prior experience as a DBA
