Job Description:
Our client is looking for an experienced AWS certified Data Security Engineer. The Data Security Engineer will work with the IT Security team to implement and automate data security features and services both on-premises and in the cloud pertaining to data security. Additionally, this role is responsible for the documentation, adoption, and education of data security best practices to other engineers and developers within the IT department. If you are highly accomplished in securing data, accessing data and have knowledge with compliance around data deletion policies all over the world, this position may be for you!

Job Description:
Our client is looking for an experienced AWS certified Data Security Engineer. The Data Security Engineer will work with the IT Security team to implement and automate data security features and services both on-premises and in the cloud pertaining to data security. Additionally, this role is responsible for the documentation, adoption, and education of data security best practices to other engineers and developers within the IT department. Required Skills:
- 5+ years as a Data Security Engineer for a enterprise level organization
- Experience working with and provisioning AWS Cloud Security services
- Familiarity with the OWASP top 10 and core application security concepts
- Experience implementing policies regarding PCI and GDPR
- Ability to write automation in Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible
- Recent experience writing scripts in Python
- Skilled in project management
- Experience working with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies
- Terraform and CloudFormation in a production setting
- AWS IAM Policies, Security Groups, Network ACLs, and AWS STS
- Ability to read C#, JavaScript, TypeScript and Kotlin is helpful
- Experience in a Direct Selling or Network Marketing environment.
- Past experience working in software development
- Past experience working in database administration
- AWS Certified Professional Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
- AWS Certified Security Specialty
- Bachelor's Degree from a credited university in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
