Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Technical Lead/Systems Engineer will provide multi-disciplinary engineering expertise supporting a Defensive Cyber effort as part of structured systems development life cycle process that considers both the business and the technical needs of customers with the goal of providing a quality product. The environment and related development contract are leveraging DevSecOps, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), in an early stage of maturity.

Must have the experience and expertise to play a critical role in technical engineering working groups and IPTs and must advise, guide, and collaborate with customer organizations regarding system and software architecture, system and user requirements, system hardware (firewalls, intrusion detection system(s), operating system(s), cyber defense tools, and systems engineering processes and disciplines.

Basic Qualifications:

8-10 Years Related Experience or more than 13 years with Master's or more than 11 years with PhD

BS/BA. (4 years’ experience in lieu of degree is acceptable AS/AA and 2 years’ experience in lieu of degree is acceptable)

Experience creating SySML diagrams using Visio or MagicDraw

Experience with one of: DevOps, Agile methodology (experience with both preferred)

Experience operating in both Windows and Linux environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

CISSP

Security +

Expertise in industry and DoD policies and procedures (DISA STIG’s, OWASP Top 10, etc)

Experience with JIRA and Confluence

Verification and validation experience

Leading test teams

Experience as Scrum Master

Security Clearance Requirements:

Current/Active TS/SCI

The projected compensation range for this position is $106,000-$150,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
