In this role, you have the opportunity to
Manage data center operations, software release cycles, network and security operations in support of patient focused services. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to architect production systems, maintain appropriate levels of security, monitor performance and availability required to exceed both internal and market demands. Our Pittsburgh based team oversees operations locally as well in cloud instances in North America, Europe and Asia.
You are responsible for
Collaborating across our cross-functional organizations to automate and streamline operations and processes for Engineering, QA, testing, performance, etc.
Identifying automation opportunities and implementing automation to enable teams to build and deploy autonomously
Developing reliable, modular, reusable tooling that easily deploys our software on on-premises and cloud platforms
Maintaining and extending our comprehensive testing infrastructure centered around Jenkins
Building and maintaining configuration tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations to support our internal infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Digital.ai, Terraform, and GitLab
Building, deploying and maintaining a multi-tenant SaaS offering
Developing and maintaining an automated test suite for IaC
Working within a complex and rapidly evolving AWS environment

Philips will be to a new site in , one of the premier locations in Pittsburgh. This is a very exciting time to be joining Philips, as this new location will be the Sleep & Respiratory Center of Excellence. The new office is set to open in 2021.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
2+ plus years of Software Engineering, Automation, or relevant experience
Experience with programming or scripting language, such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, JavaScript, or Go
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
Experience with YAML or JSON
Experience with build, deploy, and release engineering in a Linux environment
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
Experience creating, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure with tools such as Ansible or equivalents
Familiarity with engineering communications with 3rd party REST APIs is a plus
Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and Digital.ai (Xebia Labs) is a plus
Familiarity with managing encrypted secrets via Hashicorp Vault or similar systems is a plus
Familiarity with writing documentation in Markdown or tools such as Confluence is a plus
Comfortable working in a fulltime remote setting
Comfortable working in a DevOps culture
Must be available to work during EST business hours
