Infosys is seeking DevOps Developer - In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Work locations are Chicago, IL or Houston, TX. C andidate can be located within commuting distance of these locations or be willing to relocate to the area or work from any location across the U.S. This position may require travel and or relocation to project locations.
- At least 2 years of Development experience
- Open to learning new cloud based technologies like AWS
- At least 2 years of experience in the software development life cycle.
- At least 2 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Automate development, build and release pipeline using Continuous Integration Server
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
- Experience with developing containerization and clustering technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins
- Experience in provisioning AWS services using infrastructure as code tools like Cloud Formation and Terraform
- Willing to work in application/production support
- Strong communication and Analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Good presentation and communication skills to express what is being worked on day-to-day activities
