Responsibilities:
- Support Jenkins-based build infrastructure deployed in Google Cloud Platform
- Continuously improve build infrastructure, speed up builds and test runs.
- Support migration of existing workloads from virtual machines to containers (Kubernetes, Helm).
- Tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, administration, configuration and deployment of platforms and services.
- Support both staging and production environments.
Requirements:
- Experience with Ansible/Puppet/Chef etc.
- Experience with Terraform, Packer, Helm.
- Linux administration experience: 3+ years.
- Strong skills in scripting and automation - bash, python, groovy.
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Spinnaker).
- Experience with Prometheus.
- Internal automation tools development.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- You appreciate the concept of ChatOps.
- Active interest in new technology and emerging engineering practices.
- Production support experience in public cloud environment (GCP, DigitalOcean).
- Experience with GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Build.
- Experience supporting software builds using maven, scons or similar tools.
- Experience with Redis, Kafka, Debezium, Memcached, Elasticsearch.
- Experience of working with numerous and distributed environments.
- Experience with infrastructure test automation – pytest, cucumber, etc.
