RumbleOn is looking for a DevOps Engineer who is fluent with CI/CD technologies and tools to join our team ON-SITE at our headquarters in Irving, TX. This person will take on a key role on our Dev Team.
The DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with our other DevOps Engineers, Database Administrators, Software Engineers and QA Team to deploy and operate RumbleOn websites, mobile apps, databases, internal applications, and integration systems. You will help automate and streamline operations and processes as well as troubleshoot issues within multiple environments. You will establish configuration management, automate our infrastructure, and enhance our continuous integration.

Responsibilities
- Design, test and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Github, Jenkins, Octopus, AWS Code, Pipeline etc.
- Design and develop deployment automation and validation tools across the entire software stack
- Build and maintain robotic process automation (RPA) solutions
- Perform security, performance and availability assessments
- Optimize system performance, availability and scalability
- Troubleshoot source code management and deployment issues
- Install, configure and maintain Windows and Linux servers in the cloud
- Install, configure and maintain databases including MSSQL, Redshift and ElasticSearch
- Create and maintain documentation on configuration, troubleshooting, design etc.
- Perform security audits and assist with hardening servers and systems against attacks
- Configure and administer our API developer portal and API gateway
- Respond to all priority support tickets and internal trouble calls
- Assist with the Infrastructure Team in managing the off-site disaster recovery facility
- A minimum of 4 + years working in DevOps plus a minimum of 4+ years experience in software development and/or network management.
- 3 plus years’ experience provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments

- In-depth knowledge of Windows server environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Familiarity with agile development process and best practices
- Programming and scripting experience in Python, C#, PowerShell, Ruby, Java, and .NET
- Knowledge of database, operating system and network security
- Knowledge of automation frameworks like Chef, Puppet, Ansible and Fabric
- Senior Level experience with CI/CD technologies and tools
- Experience provisioning and managing AWS cloud resources
- Strong experience with MSSQL and NoSQL databases
- Previous experience with server configuration and maintenance
- Data Warehousing & ETL - RedShift > Panoply
- CI/CD (Jenkins > Octopus)
