Position Summary:
MUST HAVES
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- AWS and OpenShift experience
- Background in Java and JavaScript
- DevSecOps specific experience
- JIRA execution and terminology knowledge
- Legacy deployment experience
These individuals will be sitting in the DevSecOps group . Each individual will be dedicated to a different team working to enhance security in their DevOps pipeline. Additionally, they will be helping to onboard applications from legacy systems and automate.
- Gather client requirements and design consistent, repeatable processes for complex operations
- Ability to collaborate with IT operations, development teams, and other line-of-business (LOB) partners
- Partner with development teams to ensure proper knowledge and implementation of CI/CD processes and tools
- Partner with Enterprise DevOps team to ensure CI/CD tools and processes meet development team requirements
- Continuously tune and validate quality of current tools
- Help cultivate a developer-centric atmosphere by identifying and lowering hurdles which get in the way of efficient and enjoyable coding practices
- Solid understanding of DevOps/Agile methodologies and practices
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Gitlab, etc.)
- Experience with multiple scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
- Experience with core development languages/frameworks (Java/Spring, JavaScript/Node etc.)
- Working knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Basic Networking, DNS, and Load Balancing
- Experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, ECR, etc.
- Experience with configuration management/infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Experience with REST APIs
- Knowledge of common data serialization formats (YAML, JSON, XML, etc.)
- Experience with build scripts (maven, .NET, node, etc.)
- Experience working with Source Control Management systems (git, SVN, TFS, etc.)
- Experience with Linux/Windows systems administration tasks.
- Detail and results oriented
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Prior work experience in financial services and/or other regulated environments is a plus
