As a DevOps Engineer, you'll work collaboratively with software engineering and site reliability engineering to deploy and operate our systems. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. And troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.
This position includes shift & weekend work responsibilities on a rotational basis.

Reports to: Head of Software Development & Architecture
Location: Toronto, CA or Athens, GA (Remote - OK)
You will:
- Manage Docebo software and infrastructure release roll-out;
- Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management;
- Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning;
- Handle code deployments in all environments;
- Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve;
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations;
- Identify and maintain metrics that tell you how your software is performing;
- Improve infrastructure development and application development;
- Keep your eyes and ears open for ways we can further streamline our development process;
- Perform periodic on-call duty maintaining the availability and performance of Docebo Platform;
- Evangelise and spread your DevOps mentality among your colleagues.
- Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations;
- A DevOps mindset with a strong drive to get things done;
- Experience with Bash, Python;
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Gitlab CI;
- Experience with Linux based systems, especially LAMP stack;
- Experience with Cloud services such as Amazon AWS;
- Experience with Docker container build, release and management in production;
- Familiar with application performance monitoring tools like New Relic, Dynatrace;
- Familiar with Docker schedulers such as Amazon ECS or Kubernetes;
- Familiar with Git;
- Familiar with tools such as AWS Cloudformation or Terraform;
- Strong attention to detail, astute diagnostic skills;
- Ability to solve issues with clear methods while knowing when to take intuitive leaps;
- A strategic and forward-looking thought process;
- Able to guide technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
- Branch, write, test, and deploy code for configuring and managed production services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or Mathematics;
- Previous experience in a SaaS company.
