DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with our managed IT provider and managed security provider to
maintain critical Microsoft IT infrastructure
• Perform production and pre-production software releases
• Be on-call for operational and security alerts
• Manage and maintain production and pre-production infrastructure on AWS
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 5 years in an engineering position with operational responsibility.
• Significant experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• (Preferred) Experience with containerization via Docker, ECS, or similar
• (Preferred) Experience with CloudFormation
• (Preferred) Postgres or other relational database experience
• (Preferred) Experience with mobile app deployment pipelines
• (Preferred) Knowledge of python, bash, or other scripting language
• (Preferred) Ability to read and understand Java, SQL, and Javascript.
• (Preferred) Experience working in a highly-regulated environment, for example
with HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC-2 compliance.
This is a technical, hands-on position in which candidate will have direct responsibility for on-call support of and deployment
Note: Dev Ops – must have AWS experience
IT Side – must have Azure experience
This is- at a minimum a Maintenance role on both the Dev Ops and IT Engineering functions. If a candidate has cloud development skills they will try to use them for more advanced work as well.
