JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a passionate and motivated DevOps engineer to build innovative and cost-effective infrastructure that aims to increase efficiency, reliability and integration of Ceterus services and operations. You will support our development team by providing infrastructure solutions for our Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, internal tooling, and more; all with a focus on reliability and security of our systems. This is a remote position.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
Deliver high-quality, polished, and reliable infrastructure.
Manage our Google Cloud Platform account, including responsibility for billing, monitoring, and alerting.
Build upon and support our multi-cluster Kubernetes infrastructure and become the go-to source of information for containerization techniques and best practices across our applications and systems.
Be responsible for improving our Docker containers with a focus on re-usability and flexibility.
Actively participate in an agile development process, including contributing to story creation, estimation, twice weekly standups, etc.
Setup, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
WE’D LOVE YOU TO BRING
Relevant engineering experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Continuous Integration & Deployment pipelines
Experience working with Kafka
Expert level understanding of wide area network configuration and administration
Strong communication skills
Experience working on a team
Experience with VCS, particularly BitBucket
Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment
Basic Knowledge of SQL databases
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
B.S. Computer Science or related field (MS a plus)
