Keysight Labs is hiring a DevOps engineer to bolster our team in Atlanta. This role will focus on development of our Software Continuous Integration & Delivery pipeline. The ideal candidate will have systems admin skills, technical trouble-shooting skills, experience working with software development teams, and communication skills needed to work with the diverse SW R&D teams that we support.

DevOps Engineer

Keysight Labs is hiring a DevOps engineer to bolster our team in Atlanta. This role will focus on development of our Software Continuous Integration & Delivery pipeline. The ideal candidate will have systems admin skills, technical trouble-shooting skills, experience working with software development teams, and communication skills needed to work with the diverse SW R&D teams that we support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintenance and design of internal Jenkins as a Service (JaaS) architecture
- Support internal Jenkins users w/ issues and requests.
- Work closely with IT partners to solve complex networking, coding, and software related issues
- Work with external vendors to solve build issues for Keysight R&D teams
- Setup and maintain the DevOps tools and infrastructure for software projects
- Partner with architects and managers to understand customer requirements and translate them into development tasks
- Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes for R&D teams
- Demonstrate passion for learning and seek development opportunities for self and team
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related engineering discipline or 5 years of relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of DevOps experience
- 3+ years of Docker experience
- 5+ years of Linux system administration experience
- 2+ years of production Kubernetes/Rancher experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Solid understanding of Jenkins CI/CD development flows and impact of DevOps on architecture
- Experience with Git and Git source control systems such as Bitbucket.
- Experience with log management / log analytics such as ELK/EFK, Splunk.
- Experience with Python or Bash scripting
- Experience with deployment, management, and monitoring of cloud-based software applications to production environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
