RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Englewood, CO that is seeking a DevOps Engineer. Want to join a new DevOps team and help build an environment from the ground up? This team is for you!
REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in a programming language (Java or Python preferred and open to new ones), that language's main package manager and testing frameworks
• Knows GitLab, Runners, pipelines and group organizations
• Familiar with at least one configuration language (Chef or Ansible preferred)
• Fast learner capable to cope with new tool stacks
• Fond of "as Code" concepts: Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, Policy as Code, etc.
• Knowledgeable in Terraform
• Enthusiastic about the 12 factors
• Well versed in one APM (Instana preferred)
• Into Docker, Kubernetes and how to deliver software using such technologies
• Able to implement dashboards, objects and alerts in Splunk/ELK and Prometheus/Grafana
• Familiar with deployment orchestration tools like Octopus, Harness or Spinnaker
• Familiar with VMWare vCenter and surrounding technologies
• Familiar with SQL database fundamentals and event streaming technologies (Kafka preferred)
