Role: DevOps Engineer


Functions:

• Managing various OS's and environments (Linux / Docker / Kubernetes / Rancher )
• Support of the server-side infrastructure: Docker, Nginx, Node.js, C++, Java, configuration management, load balancing (HAProxy).
• Implementing, maintaining and managing IT services in various Cloud service providers (Hetzner, Digital Ocean, Google/AWS).
• Support / Maintain / Improve the CI/CD development processes (TeamCity / Gitlab CI).
• Provide monitoring services through "Logging / Monitoring (production grade system: 24-7 / "fix everything just through logging")".
• Maintaining databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, performance and replication management.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in DB administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL), setting up replications and creating backups
• Experience as a Linux administrator for at least 4 years
• Experience in Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent knowledge of git, bash, SSH
• Solid experience in high-load Web applications
• Development experience in one of the following languages: JavaScript, C#, Python, Java, C++
• Experience with managing CI/CD systems (TeamCity / Gitlab CI)
• Experience with Prometheus stack
• Strong commitment and sense of urgency
• Outstanding quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Diligent and detail-oriented person
• Able to lead complex projects in a high-paced environment

Desirable experience in any of the following:

• Configuring Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Experience in high-load projects, hot server updates
• Experience with Configuration Management tools. Ansible is preferable.
• Rancher 1.6
