Position: We’re looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to support a large, 10-year, government contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Skillsets / Responsibilities: A DevSecOps Engineer has experience in managing teams of security analysts. Is able to effectively leverage vast detailed knowledge and familiarity with security discipline. Has thorough knowledge of security principles, concepts, policy and regulations. Is able to identify risks in security systems and work with technical experts to resolve security issues. Possess ability to identify key concepts, factors and risks based on conversations and document these in clear and concise narrative or graphic reports. Has experience with config management and change control.

- Experience at least 2 projects with at least 6 months duration using or implementing development & automation tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, Terraform, Kubernetes, Nexus. Experience on a project with at least 6 months duration designing and implementing container-based applications.
- 2+ years of experience scripting and/or programming in a Unix, Linux, Windows environment. Experience working with one or more of the following environments: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Vmware.
- Experience integrating DevOps pipeline with test automation tools. Experience architecting and implementing infrastructure as code solutions (Ansible)
