About the Project:
Next IP Multimedia Subsystem - nIMS - is the leading TDG project to virtualize voice services on a cloud-based environment. The voice services are produced in the sense of Service as a Service (SaaS) as virtual network functions (VNF).
NIMS is committed to the principles of agile and DevOps methodologies and wants to improve automation and agile collaboration for application and infrastructure production processes. Especially automation is required to reduce manual efforts and is open for development and adoption of new functionalities and components
Responsibilities:
The DevOps approach accompanied by agile development methods like Scrum is the favorite approach to reach the project’s vision and objectives and is supported by an underlying CI/CD pipeline for all software related changes. While the Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) approach shall support improving productivity, delivering the expected functionality, providing reliable releases and short rollout cycles as well as lowering the operational risks.
Requirements:
Technology stack: Gitlab, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes/Docker
Business trips: 2-4 per year to Germany

Requirements:
- Linux admin skills/know how
- System lifecycle management, configuration management and Troubleshooting skills
- Programing skills, Scripting languages (at least one)
- Virtualization and Cloud know how (Open stack, SDN…)
- CI/CD methodology/know how
- Strong understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies
- M2M interfaces (REST API)
