JetBrains is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our internal self-service analytics platform team. We’re building this platform to enable JetBrains product teams to gain insights into user behavior and support product decisions with accurate data.
We expect you to have:
- Experience with AWS. The project uses ECS, EMR, Athena, Cloudfront, Lambda, S3, and RDS managed via Terraform.
- Experience with Cloudwatch and Prometheus.
- Kotlin DSL and Teamcity usage.
- Understanding of Security/Privacy aspects.
- Understanding of modern SRE practices, including VCS, Code Review, Autotesting, IaC, Planning, Iterations, Postmortems, and Capacity Planning.
- All the infrastructure runs on AWS.
- All the infrastructure is provisioned via Terraform.
- All the updates to the infrastructure are deployed automatically via TeamCity and corresponding Gradle tasks.
- All the updates are first deployed to staging, where they’re tested, and only after passing do they go to production.
- All the code is in a Git repository.
- The release cycle is 2-3 weeks.
