DevOps Engineer - REMOTE Matrix Resources Dallas, TX

This Dallas-based consulting firm has an immediate 3-6 month contract-to-hire opening for a DevOps Engineer. This role will be 100% remote from anywhere within the USA. Will be working with a client that is phasing out AWS and moving to Azure. This position requires a good understanding of Release Management, Instrumentation and Monitoring and overall instance management. This position would NOT need to be a "coding" DevOps Engineer. Will be manually managing the instances/code releases and do not need, at this time, any scripting experience. Since they are phasing out AWS, any previous experience with AWS would be a bonus (as it may help them with the transition). This client is considering New Relic for their instrumentation and monitoring, so any experience with that platform would be a bonus.
