Robert Half Technology is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a long term opportunity located in the St. Louis, Missouri area. As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work as an integral part of our client's agile teams in analyzing, building, and testing high quality cloud deployment methodologies and systems. You will work on a team under the leadership of senior architects, building the future of their state-of-the-art cloud-based payment processing and membership management platform. This position will be fully responsible for our client's CICD pipelines and flow of code updates through the engineering group, as well as creating and monitoring highly available cloud infrastructure and platforms that host that code. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple technologies with a leaning toward Microsoft technology stacks, especially Azure cloud platform services.
Responsibilities will be diverse including Azure architecture and infrastructure, build tooling and dev-ops systems and processes. Responsibilities will span all environment including production, development, and testing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any discipline), or closely related field of study is preferred 5+ years’ experience working with: High Availability Azure Cloud Environments both Iaas and Paas, DevOps tooling and CICD processes, Microsoft Build, Azure DevOps Build pipelines, Microsoft SQL Server Experience with monitoring frameworks Experience working within the Scrum framework Familiarity with AWS cloud services a plus Familiarity with service-oriented architecture

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assist in deploying, building, maintaining, and support of applications in Azure and at times AWS environments, including ASP.NET & React websites, Web APIs Mobile applications, Console or desktop applications , Azure hosted microservices , Azure hosted APIs
- Build new and modernize existing deployments processes.
- Build new and modernize cloud infrastructure for improved reliability and scalability.
- Work with the team to build effective monitoring and proactive problem resolution.
- Work with the product owner in an agile (scrum) development process to ensure adequate requirements are available and to scope, estimate, and plan work
- Work with software QA to determine test plans, fix discovered issues, and participate in the deployment process
- Assist in reviewing new development support tickets and provide fixes/feedback as appropriate
- Effectively manage time across multiple responsibilities to deliver planned work within timeboxed team sprints
- Administer critical analysis and work with the team to deliver solutions to problem areas
- Be driven, organized, & detail oriented.
- Have excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Work well in a team environment and brainstorm with other developers/senior developers on ideas, workflows, and technologies
- Have strong technical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to step into large and complicated system and quickly start making an impact
- Exhibit ability to plan and manage multiple deliverables in a highly energized and fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal and external clients.
