Job Description :
As a DevOps / Build and Release engineer, you will be part of the DevOps team helping to bridge operations & development to improve our build, integration & deployment procedures, automated build pipeline, and CI/CD systems.
You will be working closely with development, QA and product teams to properly and efficiently build and deploy releases throughout the software development life cycle as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production AWS environments.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work in a dynamic and complex software build environment and enjoys optimizing build environments for speed and reliability.
Role : DevOps Professional
Required Skills: B.Tech/BS in computer science or similar
3+ years of DevOps and/or build & release experience including delivery to production
Deep understanding of version control systems (Git, SVN etc.), including branching and merging strategies
Experience with continuous delivery and integration tools: Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory
Experience with build/SCM tools: Maven, ANT
Experience writing build scripts using Unix Shell (bash,ksh) or perl
Experience with automation/configuration management using Chef
Hands-on Unix/Linux knowledge
Experience with Openstack capabilities and architecture
Ability to provide after-hours support as needed for emergency or urgent situations
