Required Skills: Basic experience in SQL & Powershell. Ability to write basic SQL queries for business reporting.
We are looking for a devops engineer for managing capacity for big data platform.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for fulfilling capacity requests and reporting.
Responsible for analyzing the platform telemetry and configuration data from different data sources and develop business reports to enable customers to make critical decisions.
Own the processes and tools in the program and drive automation and enhancements.
Closely work with various engineering and PM teams, clearly set project goals, understand the constraints and risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans and deliver the results.
Participate in half yearly planning of program deliverables.
Participate in daily and weekly scrum meetings.
Weekly status reporting of all the projects that you own in the program.
Active participation in monthly business reviews with month on month improvements on the metrics.
Proactive communication on the projects status, issues, blockers to all stakeholders.
