About the role:
We are searching for a DevOps Lead Engineer to be part of our team of developers to create best practices and deliver software at pace. You will also be collaborating with other teams including Architecture, Product Management, and Operations.
What you'll do:
- Lead the DevOps practice and plan, design, build and optimize our CI/CD infrastructure
- Collaborate with teams around the globe to plan, execute and deliver projects
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement
- Work with the software engineering teams to develop a robust build pipeline capable of meeting the daily build requirements
- Interact with the engineering team to ensure CI/CD best practices are followed
- Develop and maintain appropriate monitoring tools to ensure pipeline success
- 7+ years of proven experience in large scale software development
- Deep knowledge of software development processes including agile processes, test-driven development, and automation of the build and deployment processes (CI/CD)
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline and build for development staging and production
- Proficiency with AWS
- Proficiency in software deployment tools like Jenkins, Git, and writing ansible scripts/playbook
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation
- Experience with agile tracking tools such as Jira
- Experience with containerization, specific experience with docker, kubernetes, or similar
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with Software Development teams, Support Teams, and Product Management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
