We are looking for a highly motivated and technically agile software engineer to join the Teradyne Software DevSecOps Engineering team! Teradyne develops best in class automated test software and it is the responsibility of DevSecOps Engineering to ensure that the software engineering teams can develop efficiently. We place an emphasis on automation every step of the way as we strive to migrate our massive, complex flagship product toward realizing a true continuous integration / continuous delivery DevOps model. Much remains to be accomplished and we need you on our team to help make the vision a reality!

We operate under the principles of Agile Scrum. Working closely with the SW development teams in addition to Release Engineering and Quality Engineers.

Responsibilities

This full-time role will involve:
- Updating/Transitioning to essential development tools used in SW development.
- Working with SW development teams and crafting automated metrics to root out inefficiencies
- Contributing to Build and Test automation optimization.
- Participating in various tools and build infrastructure migration projects
- Experience with Elastic Search, Github, Jira and Artifactory
- Working knowledge of Installers.
- Existing experience at Teradyne would be preferred but not required
- 0-2 years experience with general software development or DevOps experience with commercial applications
- Experience with Java and Scripting languages (Python, Javascript, Perl as examples)
- You can clearly express your ideas and concepts both written and verbally
