- Exhibit an infrastructure / config / everything as code mindset
- Participated in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development environment
- Have experience with Incident and Problem management processes, being accountable for resolution, root cause analysis and technology and business reporting and communication
At least 5+ years of experience in a software/system engineering environment with a focus in DevOps/SRE.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Cloud technologies
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins; With experience using and developing software build scripting: Groovy, Maven, Gradle etc.
- Hands on Git/Bitbucket
- Hands-on with Configuration Management (CM) tools such as Ansible, Chef and Puppet
- Strong knowledge and experience in Python, Java and Javascript, React and NodeJS
- Strong observability experience: white & black box monitoring, telemetry collection, and data analysis tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, DataDog Kafka, Splunk, etc.
- Strong server OS scripting and automation experience
- Strong experience with containers and container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker
- Familiarity with best practices for infrastructure design for applications using Microservices, APIs, Big Data, and more
- Public/Private Cloud Experience AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
