Support a small group of developers and a large user base .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work collaboratively in a DevOps environment to:
  • Will work to ensure the reliability of the environments running our applications, help to further automate processes, document those processes, support developers and application deployments, and work within a team striving to align with the principles of Infrastructure as Code and Continuous Integration and Delivery models (CICD)
  • Provide Developer and Deployment Support as applications are upgraded, bug fix deployments, etc.
  • Help to design, implement, and maintain current OKD container clusters.
  • Help to develop and maintain automation and orchestration software and scripting.
  • Support and improve configuration management using an automated tool like Ansible.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

None

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technically related field, or equivalent education/experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience
  • Familiarity with source repository software (Git, Bitbucket)
  • Experience with Apache Web Server and Tomcat configuration
  • Experience with introduction of automation to processes
  • Experience with Splunk
  • Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of Container Environments such as Docker, Kubernetes is desirable
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration related tools such as Maven, Git, Bitbucket etc.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios
  • Some PgSQL DB support experience is desired.
  • Experience and ability in these areas are highly desirable
  • Familiarity with container and cloud technologies
  • Good prioritization and time management skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk or sit for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, controls or equipment; and reach forward with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include visual acuity to Colorado driver's license requirements, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee might lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 lbs.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000

CNT offers discretionary annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
