Position: DevOps Systems Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract
Interview Mode: Skype/ Telephonic / WebEx
W2 and 1099
Description:
7+ years overall IT experience; Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in DevOps / SRE within Database space, knowledgeable in: Puppet, SQL, Oracle, Git, Operating Systems, APIs, Infrastructure as Code(code/scripting), Virtualization, Business Workflows (e.g. vRA/vRO is a plus), Build, Release;
Cloud DevOps skills(3+yrs): RDS / DynamoDB, AWS CodePipeline, UCD, Jenkins, Step Functions, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, Secrets Manager, lambda
Clear communication skills and ability to work independently(self-starter);
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot/perform root cause analysis
Demonstrated leadership skill to interact across functional teams
Experience in larger, fast paced, 24x7 corporate environment with no concerns working in such environment
Python as scripting language for Cloud DevOps.
