- Play a vital leadership role on strategic IT projects to bring distinctive software solutions leveraging emerging technologies in support of innovation and modernization initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Own and drive DevSecOps solutioning on proposals and AIC. Lead the planning, design, architecture, and implementation of next-gen security architecture and solutions.
- Lead all aspects of DevSecOps solutions development to drive corporate growth on federal bids, and serve as the corporate senior SME.
- Provide technical thought leadership to our clients and operational teams.
- Bring a deep understanding of containerization utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, or other cloud-based containerization technologies (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Resource Manager, AWS ECR/ECS, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), etc.).
- Hold working knowledge of Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline tools and processes.
- Understand security issues and how to leverage tools to harden operating systems, applications and containers.
- Build-out technology pilots and demo environments to explore and adopt new Cloud, Automation, and Security technologies to enable more rapid and secure enterprise application development and releases.
- Bring a demonstrated professional leadership style that motivates and inspires, embodies the values that attract top talent and develops employees to their desired potential.
- Hold an Active Clearance – Secret or above (or have an ability to obtain a clearance).
- 10+ years’ experience with extensive exposure to numerous aspects of software / agile development, DevOps, Cloud, and information security.
- 5+ years’ experience in working within a software engineer team which leveraged DevOps / DevSecOps with development,
- SME level experience in architecture design and solutioning in the areas of enterprise application, serverless, microservices, containers, data, and application security.
- Experience with automated build, test, and continuous deployment of Cloud-based applications using common tools (e.g., Code Pipeline, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.).
- Strong experience providing technical leadership to an Agile Scrum team. Agile certification(s) a plus.
- Experience leading, managing, writing, and reviewing Federal proposals, and specifically technical volumes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS or equivalent experience. Master’s degree in a STEM-related field a plus.
- AWS and/or Azure certification preferred (e.g. AWS DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert, solution architect, sysops, administrator, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across internal and external organizations.
- Demonstrated strong business partner relationships and vendor management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface and influence at all levels from executives to staff.
- Ability to project a confident leadership image, while inspiring enthusiasm and creative thinking among technical staff.
