Candidate must be an US citizen, and able to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance and USCIS EOD to start work

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented DevSecOps Collaboration Engineer and developer to join our Hosting Services team on an IT operations project supporting DHS USCIS. The candidate will provide applications and tools development support for large enterprise. Candidate will be responsible for design, engineering, developing, testing, deploying applications and tools in virtualized environments that host web servers, database servers, domain controllers etc., on premise and in the cloud.

This position works under the general guidance of the Hosting Services Task Lead and Senior Engineers, in an Agile. DevSecOps fast-paced, rapidly changing, collaborative environment, and requires strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Design, develop, and deploy out-of-the-box solutions and hosted in a onpremises or virtualized environment
  • Develop integration tools such as dashboards and solutions for IT tools (e.g Dashboards of ServiceNow, Solarwinds etc.,)
  • Support and develop deployment packages in PowerShell
  • Work with program and technical staff in all aspects of daily work.
  • Fully engaged in the implementation of a DevOps practices for supporting IT
  • Support information assurance process in a technical role by complying with technical controls, technical checklists etc.
Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • 2-5 years of analysis related to design, development, and integration of hardware and software to support large scale Windows and Unix environments with virtualization and on premises
  • 2-5 years of experience integration or working knowledge of monitoring and workflow management tools
  • 2-5 years’ experience testing large-scale Windows and Linux environments
  • 2-5 years’ experience performing a variety of application development, integrating, engineering and operational related assignments
  • 2-5 years of experience in managing and developing out-of-the-box solutions for IT infrastructure tools (e.g., integrating operation dashboards of ServiceNow, SolarWinds). Knowledge of APIs and their integration using Java Script & other Scripting, Python, Vue.js, HTML 5, REST APIs, HTML5, Tableau, Elastic stack)
  • Developing dashboard using out-of-the-box functionality.
  • Experience in VMware, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git., AWS, Azure cloud environments, and DevSecOps automation
  • associated in Windows Physical and virtualization software environments such as VMware’s vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V on a set of enterprise-level IT systems.
  • 2-5 years’ experience writing scripts with a scripting language such as PowerShell, with knowledge of ANSIBLE, and Middleware ( Oracle Application Server, IIS, Apache)
  • Some experience and familiarity with Configuration and Change management practices in Agile and standard infrastructure and software development environments
  • Some experience in AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Services, and other Cloud environments
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps practices and ITIL processes
  • BA/BS and minimum of 5 years experience required. Experience can be substituted for education
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
  • US Citizen with DHS Public Trust suitability clearance/EOD
  • Experience with any DHS agencies or entities
