In this compelling leadership position, you will plan and direct the work of staff who provide overall direction for technology products and processes; assess enterprise functional needs and implement technology solutions to support; define strategic outlook; may coordinate operational activities of the unit through the efforts of subordinate staff managers
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
Our Single-Family Technology team is looking for a Director of Technology that will be redefining and leading key transformational changes for our DevOps teams. As a Director of Technology, you will be accountable for all the technical decisions, roadmaps, and deliverables that impact our critical application priorities including Loan Delivery, Desktop Underwriter, and CRM.
We are looking for a strong and experienced leader with a deep technical understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies who can effectively lead us to our target state. You will be managing a diverse engineering team and leading the adoption and maturation of the changes you would help define. You will be key in centralizing DevOps support services for your entire organization and lead them to an effective, consistent, and cost-effective model.

Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of related experience managing teams
- 10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts
- ·Experience implementing various Agile practices and methodologies and ability to effectively manage an Agile organization
- Experience leading teams through Cloud and DevOps adoptions including strong familiarity with AWS cloud implementation and deployments
- Effectively able to manage, coach, and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers and Engineering Managers
- Ability to effectively drive people, process, and technology changes in a dynamic and complex operating environment
- Ability to effectively collaborate with both business and/or technology partners to influence certain business/technology outcome
- Ability to create and maintain a target state roadmap with well-defined milestones to help us migrate to the target state
- Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking and consulting skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology concepts to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists
