Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following:
- All phases of product development, software development, and testing life cycles;
- Agile software delivery methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, and Lean;
- Experience in building software solutions with state of the art technology;
- People Management experience including a history of mentoring others; and,
- Experience in defining and running a multi-scrum team delivery model with proper governance and execution.
- Consulting in Agile Software development as a Project, Product or Program Manager;
- Performing large-scale, complex software delivery project/program management on client engagements;
- Possessing management experience in established technology and product departments with mature program management processes and standards for both Agile and waterfall project methodologies;
- Maintaining client/partner relationships and demonstrate expertise in leading/overseeing Agile projects to ensure successful outcomes;
- Engaging directly with senior client stakeholders;
- Leading multiple software delivery teams for a client engagement;
- Being responsible for project financials to achieve targeted financial results;
- Demonstrating multi-scrum team & multi-timezone, offshore/onshore solution ownership / Managed Agile PI projects, etc;
- Developing and promoting innovative Agile and team leadership solutions, methodologies and proposals;
- Providing guidance, coaching, mentoring and day-to-day direction for a team on project(s);
- Handling the performance feedback and annual review processes for direct reports;
- Building Solution Owner assets (e.g. offerings, standard methodologies, white papers, learning curricula, etc.);
- Contributing to business development opportunities, including writing SOWs and presenting solutions to perspective clients;
- Conducting workshops revolving around Solution Owner best practices and concepts;
- Serving as a People Manager for people within the Solution Ownership capability, and provide meaningful mentoring and advisement to more junior members;
- Supporting selection, staffing, and onboarding of solution owners to projects; assist in qualifying opportunities and work with people managers and consultants to assess project fit;
- Showing or narrating through Agile tools e.g Jira and/or Azure DevOps to explain how the tools are used to manage and track engineering progress, creating user stories, tracking engineering velocity, etc.; and,
- Leading all Agile ceremonies including: sprint planning, review, demo, and stand-up sessions.
