What you'll Do
  • Develop deep technical expertise with the EDR platform and associated vendor documentation, support processes and issue escalation.
  • Assist with developing and detailing technical environmental prerequisites for initial EDR deployment.
  • Engage with the EDR vendor, Adobe security partners and application teams a to resolve production issues.
  • Be responsible for the development and maintenance agent groupings, along with any associated configurations for a given subset of hosts.
  • Keep up to date with upcoming changes, bugs, feature improvements, planned outages, and support end of life notices form the vendor and disseminate the appropriate information to internal stakeholders.
  • Act as the point of contact for tool or other platform integrations with the EDR tool.
  • Work with the SOC and incident response teams to provide EDR platform specific support in their event response processes.
  • Support initiatives that enable automated processes with the EDR platform or the EDR platform as a component in a larger workflow.
  • Provide product teams with current agent builds to integrate into their production images and/or CICD pipeline.
  • Work with product teams to schedule and deploy agent upgrades according to their upgrade windows and change management processes.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards for leadership to monitor the status and health of the EDR platform for compliance and operational visibility.
What you need to succeed
  • Prior experience in operating and deploying commercial Security SaaS tools at scale. Experience with environments with a high number of Linux hosts is greatly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent proven experience) in security or product operations.
  • Experience with prevalent enterprise EDR platforms is preferred
  • Strong understanding of security operations practices.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Working understanding of Linux commands and syntax.
  • Familiarity with Splunk and other security tool integrations.
  • Understanding of common processes or prior direct involvement with responding to security incidents.
  • Knowledge of common public cloud operations and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to address and remediate production issues while working with different teams across multiple geographies.

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in Colorado.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
