RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Elastic Search Expert in Rocklin, CA. This role is responsible for the design and support of data networks for data centers, corporate facilities, retail stores, distribution centers, call centers, and eCommerce environment, as well as to design, develop, implement, and support network solutions for IT projects. Specific Responsibilities:

• Participates and documents systems requirements and authors solution designs
• Reviews and provides feedback for system design solutions that will impact their area
• Participates in establishing strategies and standards
• Creates and manages system capacity plans
• Leads, or participates, in installation and configuration activities
• Develops and maintains procedures and system documentation
• Performs systems resource optimization activities
• Leads, or participates, in major updates supporting new requirements and maintaining systems currency
• Leads or participates in implementation of resources management and monitoring

REQUIREMENTS:

• Deep knowledge and experience with Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) version 6.X and higher
• Experience building and deploying Elastic stack in a scalable clustered and containerized environment
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts and deployment
• Familiar with deploying Kubernetes using orchestrator like Rancher
• Experienced in Ansible automation
• Elastic stack administration, performance and capacity management including Index curation/retention management
• Advanced dashboard creation using Kibana and other tools like Grafana Logstash and pipeline configuration and grok experience
• Working knowledge of Elastic Beats Filebeats, Packetbeats, Metricbeats
• You have superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others
• You are proficient working in a complex, dynamic technical environment
• Ability to perform work onsite in the Rocklin office full-time pending state, local, and
