BASIC PURPOSE: As a Senior ETRM Developer will be responsible with technically analyzing, designing, enhancing, supporting, and troubleshooting in-house developed solutions and data interfaces with the Enterprise Trade and Risk Management (ETRM) systems. The successful candidate will work both directly and indirectly with assigned business units and clients, evaluate their needs, analyze the options and provide effective and resourceful technical solutions. This position functions with a high degree of autonomy and requires the ability to perform duties in a self-directed manner.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop customizations and data interfaces into and out of to ETRM system.
Plan responses to potential opportunities related to the ETRM system, involving resource holders, peers, processes, and technology.
Lead timely responses to ETRM issues, seeking internal/external advice while showing sustained progress through uncharted territories.
Solicit internal and external customer evaluation of performance, devise measures for improvement.
Actively coach and mentor others on the team.
Demonstrate personal time management skills and ability to follow through on tasks assigned with minimal supervision.
Ability to collaborate with other team members, business analysts, subject matter experts and project sponsors to identify issues and determine solution options as it relates to project scope.
Perform other tasks as needed to deliver successful solutions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or equivalent experience or certifications
6+ years of SQL Server (T-SQL) development and design with 8 years of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (C# preferred)
5+ years of experience with an ETRM related system (RightAngle preferred)
Experience with SSIS and SSRS a plus
Experience Experience with Git and DevOps a plus
