This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Requirements of the Front End Software Engineer:
- Strong expertise in front-end web development and styling, but candidate must be willing to evolve into a full-stack engineer over time
- Must be willing to wear many hats including full-time hands-on developer, QA (writing automated tests and manually testing and verifying personal work), DevOps (creating and maintaining CI pipeline), business/system analyst (learning/understanding business process, speaking to business owners and translating their needs into technical implementation)
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with a small team of like-minded full-stack architects/engineers
- Very strong emphasis on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to take designs presented in Invision/Figma and implement the specified styling in a front-end web application.
- The perfect candidate would also have experience in VueJs, GitHub/GitLab, AWS, and Terraform
